A friend actively, selflessly listens and observes you while you share in a conversation. They don't try to fix you, judge you, they want to be with you while you are being you.  100 Conversations is a growing collection of random, conversations that stem from engaging with someone after an observed behavior that needed intervention, by simply asking someone "would you like someone to talk with?"  Or, in some instances a stranger who seeks out a compassionate ear.
